Internationally trained, Dory is also an alumnus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. With over 30 years of experience in hospitality, he has worked in various settings from Beirut's Phoenicia Intercontinental, La Plage, and Café D'Orient to New York City's Marriott Marquis Times Square. Before opening Dory's Mediterranean Grill, he held the esteemed position of General Manager of B.R.A.S.S., The American Employee Association of the U.S. Embassy Beirut. Dory's passion is fueled by a commitment to bringing delicious Eastern Mediterranean flavors to the local community, which is showcased in Dory's Medford offerings. His love for family, food, art, and fun is evident through the menu at Dory's Mediterranean Goods, where customers can explore a diverse Dory's Mediterranean Goods menu that reflects his vision.

Christine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker celebrating 22 years in the field, with more than half of her career dedicated to working in education. She had the unique experience of teaching overseas in Lebanon, where the culture and customs surrounding food and hospitality made a lasting impression. Enjoying the company of others alongside delicious food was a way of life, with the underlying essence of 'Lebanese Hospitality' always present. Christine's goal is for patrons to experience an extension of that warmth at Dory's Restaurant, where everyone is invited to enjoy the flavors of the Mediterranean.
In 2019, we opened Dory's Mediterranean Goods, a Mediterranean Grill in Medford (in Ironstone Village), just 7 months before the pandemic hit. We thrived for over 3 years before life-changing challenges forced us to close that chapter. However, we were grateful for the opportunity to move forward and excited to bring the vision of Dory's Mediterranean Goods to life in the Village at Taunton Forge. What happened next was unexpected; we gained a deeper understanding of what our following loved and missed about the Grill, and within roughly six months, we outgrew our little shop space. This led to a hunt for the perfect location to bring back Dory's Restaurant, along with the significant challenge of how to fund another project.
We almost gave up. In fact, we did give up, and then just two days later, the space right next door became vacant. When we saw it, our first thoughts were that it was perfect - it felt like destiny! Our second thoughts made us question our sanity. This was a massive undertaking, especially considering everything we had been through. Like many, our priority is our family's happiness and health, along with providing healthy food choices. We are passionate about our community and eager to reintroduce Lebanese flavors and "Lebanese Hospitality...with a TWIST!" back to Medford. We shared our thoughts and feelings with every customer who visited during this time - thank you all! We laughed, cried, and navigated the ups and downs of making it all happen.
In December 2024, we proudly celebrated one year of Dory's Mediterranean Goods in the Village at Taunton Forge and began building out a beautiful 2,600 square foot space right next door to our original shop. In developing this project, we aimed to maximize the incredible space for our community. We even incorporated a special boutique bookshop, which we want guests to know is still a work-in-progress as we learn about bookshop life!
